Proof aliens examine the moon? Dark 'UFO disc' filmed flying over lunar surface

A STRANGE "disc-like" UFO filmed passing the moon has ET chasers convinced aliens are investigating the lunar surface.

The dark object was spotted during footage taken by the Moon Live Stream, and it has excited UFO investigators as it is not the first time such a sighting has happened.

Sceptics dismiss these objects as satellites placed into orbit by space agencies on Earth.

Other suggestions are they could even be weather balloons that appear to be much closer to the moon on the live stream than they actually are.

But paranormal investigators say they can rule these explanations out.

New government reports cast doubt on future of NASA's Mars spacecraft

For the past six years, NASA has been intensely focused on sending people to Mars — but the rocket and spacecraft that the agency is building for the job face delays and budget problems. That’s according to two new independent reviews done by the Government Accountability Office (GAO), a federal agency that conducts audits on behalf of Congress. Released last week, the reports paint a grim picture for NASA’s Orion crew capsule and the Space Launch System (SLS) — the huge new expendable rocket that would launch the crew capsule to space. The GAO has little confidence that both the Orion and the SLS will meet their scheduled milestones, and the capsule could exceed its intended budget, the GAO hints.

THE REPORTS PAINT A GRIM PICTURE FOR NASA’S ORION CREW CAPSULE AND THE SPACE LAUNCH SYSTEM

The Orion and the SLS are the primary features of NASA’s "Journey to Mars" initiative. The teardrop-shaped Orion crew capsule is designed to ride into space on top of the SLS, carrying a crew of four astronauts into deep space. NASA plans to use the Orion and SLS combo to send astronauts to an asteroid in orbit around the Moon in the 2020s, a program known as the Asteroid Redirect Mission. After that, Orion will eventually be used to send a crew on to the Red Planet sometime in the 2030s, though details about when and how that will happen have yet to be clearly defined.  Read More >>

‘The moon passed between NASA climate observatory and the Earth,’ Tweeted former astronaut Rick Mastracchio this week.

‘Almost unbelievable that this is a real photo.’’

The image was captured by a NASA camera on board the Deep Space Climate Observatory on July 16, 2015 over the space of five hours. 

A series of test images shows the fully illuminated ‘dark side’ of the Moon that is not visible from Earth.

The images were acquired by NASA’s Earth Polychromatic Imaging Camera (EPIC), a four megapixel camera and telescope on the DSCOVR satellite, which orbits about 1 million miles from Earth.  Read more >>

The footage taken by a bystander has been seized upon by conspiracy theorists who claim it is further proof alien spacecrafts are visiting earth.

UFO enthusiast Jesse of YouTube channel UFO News claims the object could be an alien spacecraft which became exposed after its cloaking mechanism failed.

The 34-year-old from Oregon, US, said: "UFOs have long been theorized to possess some type of cloaking mechanism that would make them invisible to the human eye.

"Perhaps what we witnessed was the failure of a similar mechanism, accounting for the highly visible movement over such a populated area." Read more >>

AN ANCIENT mummy unearthed in Mongolia has sent the internet into a frenzy over its apparent cutting-edge footwear.

Archaeologists discovered partial remains of a female who is believed to have died some 1,500-years ago, nearly 10,000 feet high in the Altai Mountains.

So far, experts have found only one hand and the woman’s feet. But it is what is on them that has created shock.

The traditional footwear of the time looks more like it was designed by German sportswear brand Adidas complete with the iconic stripes, which has got chins wagging on the internet.

One person wrote on Live Leak: “Didn't know they had Adidas back then…” While another questioned: “The mummy had on some Adidas in the first pic?”

However, experts have said that it is one of the most unique insights into Mongolian life at the time. Read more >>
